How does Deckhand connect to SeaFarer? +
Catch and effort data you record in Deckhand syncs automatically into SeaFarer, where it's enriched with ocean and atmospheric conditions for each set. You log once — in Deckhand — and SeaFarer pulls the rest in.
What fisheries is SeaFarer built for? +
SeaFarer was originally designed for trap and longline fisheries in Alaska — sablefish, halibut, and king crab. Scoot Science is expanding support to additional crab and lobster fisheries, plus party boats, charters, and tournament species across the US.
