Deckhand® Pro – 3.13.2.6403

March 25th 2024
Requires iPadOS 16 or later

This release addresses the following:

Additions:

File Sharing Enhancement: Deckhand now supports AirDrop files and other types of shares from another instance of Deckhand. This new capability allows for seamless sharing of files between Deckhand users, facilitating collaboration and streamlining workflows. Whether you’re working on a project with colleagues or sharing documents with clients, you can now transfer files effortlessly within Deckhand, enhancing productivity and communication.

Fixed Issues:

Stability Improvements: We’ve addressed an issue where Deckhand could crash when editing or saving certain location entry components. With this fix, you can now navigate and update your location entries seamlessly without encountering any unexpected interruptions.

Report Date/Location Stability: We’ve resolved an issue where the date and location settings for a particular report could unexpectedly reset to the current date and time. This issue occurred under complex circumstances but has now been thoroughly addressed. With this fix, you can trust that your report settings will remain intact, providing accurate and reliable information every time.

iOS Compatibility when restoring linked events: We’ve fixed an issue affecting more recent versions of iOS, particularly 17 and above, where linked events were not properly restored from the database. This issue could potentially impact reports in workflows like Western Zone Abalone as well as MPI in NZ but others as well that may contain linked events, leading to submission failures. With this fix, users can now seamlessly restore linked events and ensure smooth report submissions in all workflows.

Thank you for your continued support and valuable feedback. We strive to provide you with the best experience, and your reports help us identify and resolve any issues promptly.
