Changes:

  • Workflow Upgrade Alerts: We are excited to introduce some significant enhancements to Deckhand Pro in this latest release. These changes are designed to improve your experience with the platform, making workflow updates more predictable and ensuring you are well-informed about upgrade points.
    • Predictable Workflow Updates: We’ve fine-tuned our system to ensure that workflow updates now occur at more predictable times. This means you can continue to use Deckhand Pro with greater confidence, knowing when to expect update activities.
    • Upgrade Alerts: In many cases, Deckhand Pro will now provide upgrade alerts to ensure that upgrade points are well-known to users. You will receive notifications and alerts when there are upcoming upgrades, ensuring that you are well-prepared for any changes or enhancements to the platform.
  • Badge Counter Default Behavior Update: In response to evolving user needs and to provide a more customisable experience, we have made a significant change in this release related to the “badge” counter on the Deckhand home-screen icon.
    • Previous Behavior: The badge counter would display the number of unsubmitted events or events with errors, providing a general overview of pending actions.
    • Updated Behavior: By default, the badge counter will no longer be present on the Deckhand home-screen icon unless a specific workflow defines it as such. Each workflow can now define its criteria for when the badge counter should be displayed. This allows for a more tailored and workflow-specific representation of pending actions.You have the flexibility to set the criteria that make sense for your workflow, providing a more meaningful badge counter based on your specific use case.

Fixed Issues:

  • Reduced Start-up Delay for Large Databases: In this latest release of Deckhand Pro, we’ve addressed a specific issue related to large databases. We understand that performance and responsiveness are crucial, and we’re committed to providing you with a smoother experience.
